Training Educational Ambassadors in Community Health (TEACH) Internship

The TEACH Internship is sponsored by Gilead Sciences and The Andrew Levitt Center for Social Emergency Medicine. This limited offering internship is designed to connect aspiring health professionals to patient populations through community health equity projects. This project-based program provides structured leadership development and community health intervention-building with a focus on health literacy and health education.

Successful participants will develop, implement, and evaluate community-focused projects aimed at improving health and health outcomes in a specific community or a specific population. This internship targets community college students who learn or reside in San Francisco, Alameda, or San Mateo Counties.
