HEAL Initiative Partnership with Stanford Medicine

The Levitt Center is proud to continue our commitment to workforce diversity
through our collaboration with the Stanford Medicine Office of Diversity in Medical
Education (ODME), and the Stanford Cardiovascular Institute (CVI) as part of the
Healthcare Education, Access and Leadership (HEAL) initiative generously
supported by the Gilead Foundation. Under the direction of Levitt Center Director
of Programs and board member Dr. Ewen Wang, the Levitt Center, ODME and
CVI are committed to eliminating health inequity through education, community
health interventions, and health advocacy. Our HEAL program targets
community college scholars from socially disadvantaged backgrounds, teaching
foundational skills in direct community health, SEM and cardiovascular health as
well as hands on training, and career support. To learn more about HEAL and
