Celebrating Match Day: SEM Externship Alumni Find Their Residencies
Every year, it happens in an instant—at the same time, across the country—for thousands of medical students.
Envelopes are opened. Screens refresh. Names appear next to places that will shape the next chapter of a life. After years of relentless study, long nights on call, and quiet moments of doubt, Match Day delivers a single, irreversible answer: where you’re going next.
For the students of the SEM Externship, that moment carries something more. It reflects not only where they matched—but how they chose to practice medicine, who they hope to serve, and the values they carry forward.
This March, the Levitt Center is proud to celebrate several SEM Externship alumni whose Match Day results mark both an ending and a new beginning.
